MU Online Wings Guide – Level 1–5 Wings & Wing Cores (Season 20 & 21)
Wings are one of the most important items in MU Online. They give you more damage, more defense, damage absorption and movement speed. This guide explains all wings from Level 1 to Level 5 and shows how Wing Cores work in modern Season 20 & Season 21 servers.

1. Wing Levels Overview
MU Online uses five main wing levels for normal characters: Level 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Higher levels = better stats and usually higher level requirements.

2. Basic Wings – Level 1 & Level 2
2.1 How to Craft Level 1 Wings
Level 1 wings are your first real wings. They give small damage increase, damage absorb and let you fly to maps like Icarus. They are crafted in the Chaos Machine in Noria.
Modern official method (Divine Object system):
- Use the Equipment Upgrade/Craft menu on the Chaos Goblin in Noria.
- Select Wings(Cape) Craft > Lv. 1 Wing Divine Object.
- Combine a Chaos Weapon (created from gear + Chaos) with the required materials to get a Lv 1 Wing Divine Object.
- Then combine the Lv 1 Wing Divine Object at Lv. 1 Wing(Cape) Combination to get a random Level 1 wing or cape.
Classic private server logic (simplified):
- Upgrade a normal item into a Chaos Weapon using a Jewel of Chaos (and sometimes Bless/Soul for better rate).
- Combine the Chaos Weapon + another item + Jewel of Chaos to receive a random Level 1 wing.
- Result can be any Level 1 wing – it is not tied to the item type you used.

2.2 How to Craft Level 2 Wings
Level 2 wings are a big upgrade: more damage and more damage absorb. You usually craft them using your Level 1 wings plus a feather.
Modern official method:
- Open Wings(Cape) Craft at Chaos Goblin.
- Use Lv. 2 Wing Divine Object Combination:
- Input Lv 1 wings + Roc Feather (or similar feather) + materials to get a Lv 2 Wing Divine Object.
- Then use the Lv. 2 Wing(Cape) Combination to get Level 2 wings or cape.
Classic private server recipe (typical):
- Level 1 wings +4 or higher with +4 additional option or higher.
- Blue Feather / Roc Feather (for normal wings) or Crest of Monarch (for Cape of Lord).
- One normal item +4+4 (optional to increase success rate).
- Jewel of Chaos (and sometimes Bless/Soul) for the mix.

3. Level 3 Wings – Condor Wings
Level 3 wings unlock when your character reaches around Level 400 and finishes the third class quest. They give around 39% damage increase and 39% damage absorb when fully upgraded on most files.
3.1 Main Recipe (Condor Route)
- Condor's Flame – drops in high‑level maps and Balgass‑type barracks maps.
- Condor's Feather – crafted in Chaos Machine using Level 2 wings and materials.
- Level 2 wings +9 or higher with decent additional option.
- Jewels (Bless, Soul, Chaos, Creation) and Zen.
You use the Lv. 3 Wing Divine Object system or the classic Condor's Feather + Condor's Flame combination in Chaos Machine to receive a random Level 3 wing for one of the advanced classes.

4. Level 4 Wings – Garuda Wings (4th Class)
Level 4 wings are available for all 4th class characters. They have high defense, +55% damage, ~43% damage absorb and require around Level 800 plus the 4th advancement quest.
4.1 How to Craft Level 4 Wings
Official Divine Object / Garuda system:
- Use Lv. 4 Wing Divine Object Combination in the Chaos Goblin:
- Input a Level 3 wing plus the required materials to create a Lv 4 Wing Divine Object.
- Then use Lv. 4 Wing(Cape) Combination:
- Combine the Divine Object (or Garuda's Feather + materials) to get a random Level 4 wing or cloak.
- On many private servers you use:
- +13 Level 3 wings + Garuda's Feather + Higher Magic Stones + Jewels + Zen.

5. Level 5 Wings – Feather of Uriel & Divine Object
Level 5 wings are the newest end‑game wings in official MU Online (Season 21). They are crafted in two stages using Lv. 5 Wings Divine Object and Ultimate Magic Crystal.
5.1 Stage 1 – Craft Lv. 5 Wings Divine Object
First you craft a Lv. 5 Wings Divine Object. This turns one of your 4th wings into a special item that you later upgrade into Lv 5 wings.

Golden Crest and Feather of Uriel drop with low chance in Elite Zones and special high‑tier maps/events on official servers. Many private servers mirror this behaviour or use their own boss maps.
5.2 Stage 2 – Craft the Lv. 5 Wings
After you have a Lv. 5 Wings Divine Object, you craft the real wings:

Important notes about Level 5 wings:
- No luck – Lv. 5 wings cannot have the Luck option.
- They come with ATK +300, DEF +900 and around +55% damage & 43% absorb at +0, scaling to much higher values at +15.
- They also gain DMG Correction, which affects damage dealt/taken in high‑end content.
- They always have 2 random options from a pool (HP/MP recovery, ignore defense, excellent damage, double damage, speed, stats, etc.).

6. Wing Cores – Extra Power for Level 5 Wings
Wing Cores are a new system added with Level 5 wings. A Wing Core is like a small “socket gem” that you attach to your Lv. 5 wings for more attack, elemental damage and defenses.
6.1 How to Craft a Pure Wing Core (Type 1)
Wing Cores are crafted in the Chaos Machine using a Blueprint bought with Ruud.

The Blueprint is usually bought in the Ruud Shop (for example from Priest James) for around 50,000 Ruud on official servers. Many private servers copy this price.
6.2 Wing Core Options & Upgrades
Wing Cores have:
- Basic option: increases Attack/Wizardry/Curse by 50 at +0, up to 273 at +15.
- 0–2 random options from a pool of elemental attack / defense bonuses and extra elemental damage lines.
You can upgrade Wing Cores from +0 to +15 using Wing Core Upgrade Stones in the Chaos Machine:
- Use Equipment Upgrade/Craft on Chaos Goblin.
- Select Wing Core upgrade.
- Combine Wing Core + Wing Core Upgrade Stones + Zen.
- Levels 1–7: on fail, level goes down by 1.
- Levels 8–15: on fail, level resets to 0.
- Core is never destroyed, only the level changes.
6.3 How to Attach or Remove Wing Cores
- Put your Level 5 wings in your inventory (not equipped).
- Hover your mouse over the Lv. 5 wings and press Alt + Right‑click.
- This opens the Lv. 5 Wings UI with a Wing Core slot.
- Drag and drop the Wing Core into the slot to attach it.
- To remove, right‑click the core inside the UI or drag it back to your inventory.
7. Wings by Class – From Level 1 to Level 5
This table shows the main wings for each class from Level 1 to Level 5. Some premium wings (Angel & Devil, Conqueror, Authority, etc.) are event or cash shop wings and not part of the normal crafting line, so they are not listed here.

8. Practical Tips for Farming & Crafting Wings
- Upgrade items before mixing: Higher item level and options usually mean a better success chance in the Chaos Machine.
- Always read the Chaos Machine help window: On modern Season 18+ clients it shows the exact items needed for each wing craft.
- Use Magic / Spirit Stones: Turn regular, excellent and ancient items into Magic/Spirit Stones to boost success rates for 3rd, 4th and 5th wings.
- Farm Elite Zones for Uriel Feathers & Golden Crests: On Season 20+ servers, these are often tied to Elite Zones and special high‑tier maps.
- Plan your Ruud use: Ruud is used for Wing Core Blueprints and Wing Core upgrade stones, so don’t waste it on random items early on.
- Trade extra wings: Higher‑level wing mixes give random wings. Craft several and trade what you don’t need for your class.
