What happened to RichMU in 2026?
The merge was announced on 11 March 2026: SilverMU, VoltMU, RichMU, FuryMU and the MUOnline.ai Realm became one server, today's Permanent Realm.
The merge announcement gave inactivity and heavy bot activity as the reasons, and promised:
- Donated GP from all five servers reimbursed.
- A fresh start with fixes and better balance.
- A new anti-hack system against cheats and bots.
Where do former RichMU players play now?
The RichMU community continues on the Permanent Realm, the long-term realm with 5000x EXP and 60,000 max stats. Its top characters and guilds are on the Permanent Realm ranking.
The Speed Realm Autumn Edition has been live since Friday 2 October 2026, with 99,999x EXP; up to 2 characters can be exported from it to the Permanent Realm when it closes. Rates and rules for both are on the realm hub.
